The DJI Ronin-S Essentials Kit is the start up package that gets you out there with the required accessories to get you started. The Essentials Kit includes only the Gimbal and the key accessories, whereas the standard DJI Ronin-S includes all the accessories such as the control cables, power adapter, the focus wheel and the rest of the accessories – making the DJI Ronin-S Essentials Kit more economical. The DJI Ronin-S is a 3-axis handheld motorised gimbal designed to stabilise video and stills on DSLR, mirrorless cameras and camcorders giving absolute clarity, smoothness when capturing fast-moving scenes. What sets the DJI Ronin-S apart from other motorised gimbals is that it’s easy and intuitive to setup with Auto Tune directly on the gimbal for optimal torque control that has a powerful and high torque motor that actively stabilizes your shot when mounted to moving platforms at a maximum speed of 75Kph .

The DJI Ronin-S is able to support up to 3.6kg of camera gear, making it more than adequate to support a full frame DSLR camera, mirrorless camera, or compact camcorder; even with accessories such as microphones and/or video lights. The DJI Ronin-S frees users from lugging heavy video tripods and shooting from stationary positions, the DJI Ronin-S is compact, smart and intuitive enabling you to shoot creative video with less restrictions. Professional 3-axis stabilisation The Ronin S provides smooth and progressive stabilisation on 3 axes: pan, tilt, and roll. The stabilisation is done by strong motors and electronic speed controllers that actively compensates for any high frequency movement, giving you smooth and professional looking video.

Obstruction free design The DJI Ronin-S's innovative design lifts the camera above the Roll Axis, making the camera's rear built-in display obstruction free and always in your line of sight. This ergonomic design also frees the Ronin S from unwanted shake as you shift from underslung to an upright position in one smooth take.

Versatile mounting The Ronin-S can be easily mount to an RC buggy for low angle shots or even act as a stabilized remote head when mounted to a jib. Users can also attach the DJI Ronin S gimbal to a dual-handle bar without compromising control of the gimbal, focus or the camera shutter.

Focus Command Unit The dedicated Focus wheel can be mounted to the accessory dock, enabling creators to pull focus when operating with the standard handle.

SmoothTrack Control The SmoothTrack system translates your movements into smooth camera angle changes. Smoothtrack works automatically and does not need input from another user. Smoothtrack intuitively faces the camera in the direction you want, all while completely stabilized. Settings from speed to deadband to acceleration are fully customizable.

Hot-swappable battery Users can enjoy uninterruptible use with the Ronin-S. This is thanks to DJI’s intelligent battery technology that allows batteries to be hot-swapped during operation for extended shoots.

Stay Focused Focus better on your subject with the easy-to-control Focus Wheel. When a compatible camera system connects to the Ronin-S, you can pull focus via the included cable. An optional external motor can also be added, bringing broader compatibility to all lens types while enhancing precision control.

Automated Creative Features The most dramatic scenes unfold with imaginative, carefully planned shots. The Ronin-S includes a suite of automated features within the DJI Ronin app, letting you produce even more creative professional footage to unlock your true filmmaking potential.

The Ronin-S offers multiple accessory mounts, providing full support for add-ons such as a microphone, LED lights, and even an external monitor.
